  • Helix comprises a bottle and a cork that must be together.
  • This type of closure is only for still wines without any pression.
  • The shelf life of this product is two years.
  • These stoppers should be used within six months of the date of manufacture.
  • Store in a well-ventilated room with controlled temperature between 15º C and 25º C and 50% to 70% humidity.

  • Maximum diameter of the rinsing tube is 14 mm.
  • Ensure the neck gripping system is aligned with the rinsing head.
  • Maximum diameter of the filling tube is 16 mm, recommendation is 14 mm.
  • Ensure the neck of the bottle is centered with the cone before inserting the filling tube.

  • The Helix cork requires an orientator in the bottling line.
  • Minimise moisture on the inside of the bottleneck.
  • Vacuum is necessary to avoid internal pressures.
  • Ensure the cork is compressed slowly and to a diameter no less than 15.5 mm.
  • Ensure insertion of the cork is as quick as possible.
  • Headspace at 20º C should be at least 15 mm.
  • For Helix bottlenecks, the cork head should be inserted to 1 mm above the top of the neck.

  • Maintain the corker jaws free of nicks and signs of wear.
  • Ensure proper alignment of plunger and location ring.
  • Ensure corking machine operates smoothly, especially during compression.
  • Clean all cork-handling surfaces regularly with chlorine-free chemicals.

  • After bottling, keep wine upright for a minimum of 5 minutes.
  • Ideal bottle storage conditions are 15 - 25º C at 50 - 70% humidity.
  • The Helix bottle cannot be storage at a temperature above the 40º C.
  • Keep the wine cellar free of insects.
  • Wine should be transported in an upright position.
