Corticeira Amorim is one of the 10 selected finalists in the Innovation category, an award rewarding excellence associated with innovation, based on strict ethical principles.

R&D+Innovation is considered by Corticeira Amorim as being a strategic pillar of its business, especially since the late 90s. As a result of this strategy, our company currently offers a portfolio of diversified cork products that are exported to some of the world's most demanding organizations in terms of quality, a clear validation by the market of the solutions provided by Corticeira Amorim.

The combined turnover of the companies from 28 countries that have applied for the 2012/13 European Business Awards exceeds one trillion euros. After a phase of interviews with representatives of the finalists, the winners of the European Business Awards will be announced in April 2013.
